Hi Russ,
FS may have spoken the truth there. Now I wonder if you were to
completely remove JAWS10, and then download the current version 10
download from the web and then install? That might rid you of the
update problem. Or you might get a different error, which could throw a
little light on your existing problem!

Hi Flor,
A few months ago I wrote you about my Jaws 10 freezing when I tried to
update Jaws. You advised me to reinstall my previous version of Jaws 9
so that I could uninstall and reinstall Jaws 10.
I noted that installing Jaws at times seemed difficult for my laptop.
I finally got around to this and found that even when installing Jaws
9,, my laptop froze again. The only thing I could do was hold down the
power button and then boot up my laptop again.
Otherwise, Jaws 10 is working perfectly. I just want to take care of
this before Jaws 11 comes along.
Am I now at a point where I have to call Tech Support at Freedom
Scientific and have them remove/repair the problem? They told me that
this would take sighted assistance.
If you, or for that matter, anyone else has a suggestion, I sure would
appreciate your help.
