Hello Josh and David,

Sorry, but this is incorrect.

All jaws versions one installs, create an icon on the desktop, so if you
have nothing else on the desktop starting with a j, pressing that letter
when on the desktop, will select jaws and you can then just enter.

So without speech, pressing windows key with m, then j and then enter,
should run jaws.

You don't have to create a different hotkey.

Regards,

Riana

David,I don't believe there is a hot key automatically assigned to JAWS
when
installed, so unless you have assigned a hot key I believe you will have
to
use Narrator in order to turn JAWS back on or another option if you have

JAWS set to automatically start when the computer loads up then you may
try
a restart. David this information is going by the assumption that your
wife
used the Jaws key + F4 to unload JAWS or the exit key to unload JAWS,
that
is the only information I know about it I hope this helps or someone
else is
able to offer more information on this matter and we both can learn
something from it. Josh
