Yes, the box is checked. However, this doesn't resolve the issue. If I type in a partial address, then hit tab or enter, it fills it in. But I have to hit shift tab to get back to the to field or some other reading keystroke to find out what it put in. In xp with Outlook Express, it would begin filling it in as soon as you typed the first letter and jaws would read it.

Hello there;

do you have, the check box checked, on the send options page;

Automatically complete e-mail addresses when composing

1, alt plus T=tools,

2, O=options,

3, shift plus tab one time to general.

4, ctrl plus tab until you hear send-tab,

5, now tab until you hear,
Automatically complete e-mail addresses when composing
if the box is unchecked, check with the spacebar,

6, now press enter.

let me no if this helps.

Got a question, but first an explanation is needed.
As most of you probably know, outlook express has the autocomplete feature
built in. In the to field, you start to type in the address. If there's a
possible match, it fills in the rest, and jaws will read this to you. So
for example, you type in the letter b. If the first entry is
[email protected], autocomplete will fill this in and jaws will say
[email protected].
Now, for the question. Can the autocomplete feature in Windows Mail be
made to work exactly like Outlook Express? Thanks for any info.
