No you don't need scripts. You can try it out, but it will be in a demo
mode and it will make a sound every few seconds. Once you buy the key and
register, you have full use. I worked with the program for a while, but I
find it very accessible.

I am using total recorder and I like to schedule it to perform jobs.
I would like to use the option to mute play back while it is
performing the job, but when I mute it, jaws is muted. Every time I
mute total recorder for any reason, jaws doesn't speak. Any way out
of this?
