With my jaws v10 I have similar issues where I have to tabb a couple of times in OE to read a message if I silence speech and just want to arrow through the message line by line. Jaws seems to get stuck on the first line of the message. Also, I can not get Jaws to stop saying edit when I am reviewing a message I am either writing for the first time or replying too when using the up/down arrow keys, and I always have to maximize the message for the screen to read more than just three or four words per line. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Driesenga" <[email protected]>

I think there's a setting in the options, under the tools menu, where you can change the setting to go directly to your inbox. Also, take a look at the layout submenu in the view menu. There might be something there as well. If you have those set, I'm not sure what else you could try, but that seems to be the issue, unless I'm missing something.

Has anyone encountered the following problem?
When I open O E, Jaws does not place the focus on the message list,
instead, I hear the following:
page has no links, there is no message selected.
At this point, I must tab twice to get to the message list view.
This problem occurs with Jaws 9, 10, and 11, on all of my XP machines.
Jaws 6.2 reads perfectly fine.
I have already submitted a bug report for Jaws 11 beta.
