I forgot to mention in my last post on this subject, that I've tried doing a 
jaws 10 repair, as well as maximizing the window before composing a new 
message, and it was to no avail.  I didn't have any of these problems with 
outlook express 6, until I received and installed jaws 10 from the cd that 
they sent me in the mail. I realize that there are people on this list that 
are very loyal jaws users, but I'm beginning to think that they should 
address many of the current problems  that people are experiencing, either 
with outlook express 6, outlook, word versions such as those experienced 
when using word 2002, 2003, the inability of jaws stating whether or not 
after something has been selected copied or pasted.  What good does it do 
any of us, to come out with newer versions of existing programs if older 
problems that people are experiencing don't get fixed before they release 
newer versions of jaws  .
