I've seen this problem myself. It appears to be the case that the
Dictionary manager doesn't recognize the Unicode character that is now
used to denote the type of 'bullet' used to denote links. Eloquence
has an annoying habit of speaking 'bullet' for this unrecognised
character. I say that this is a bug.

Add the "bullet" character to Dictionary Manager and in the
replacement field just press the space bar a few times, to enter that
as your replacement. That should work for any other unwanted
punctuation marks you're hearing.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Having Real Silencing of Punctuation Problems
Hi List.
I wrote to you all a few weeks back about how to go about silencing
the announcing of "bullets" on all WebPages whilst using version
10.0.1154. And I did get a very helpful response from Mike on this
list.
However, even though I've set the announcing of every possible kind
of bullet to ALL, in Custom Punctuation, it just isn't working. I'm
still getting all bullets being announced! And I have made the
changes in my default configuration settings.
Here's an example of a page with the problem:
http://snipurl.com/skknd
I'm getting exactly the same kind of trouble when I try to silence
the "vertical bar" announcement as well!
Now, this is starting to drive me nuts, especially as I know I wasn't
having this kind of difficulty silencing these things in the past.
Can anyone out there throw any light on what I could possibly be
doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
Darran
