Hi Susie. You could always go to the JAWS dictionary with Insert D, tab to add and hit enter, put in the exclammation point and tab once and put in a blank space for the pronunciation, then tab to OK. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susie Q" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 19, 2009 10:39 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and puntuation
Hi All; I am having a dilemma with my JAWS, and punctuation.I have my JAWS set to sum in the punctuation, so JAWS does not say the punctuation, such as question, colon, semi colon, and so on, and it is working the way it is supposed to, but for one thing, it keeps saying exclaim when I use the exclamation mark, This is annoying, as I am a writer, and I don't like it to say the exclaim. So can some one tell me how to fix this problem? Every thing is right, and I even tried to put it to say none, but it still says exclaim. Tomorrow Is Always Fresh With Know Mistakes In It Yet!
