Okay, thanks; I got it to work now.
Also, thanks to the one who told us to look in the system tray to check the
status of the upload; that helped a lot.

Once you place something in the public folder hit your applications key
on
it locally and you will find something like copy link or the like. At
that
point send that link to somebody else so they can download the file.

folder. When I place something in there, I am not able to get the link
