You use the BCC field. It is used so the TO field is not massed with email
addresses witch is bad edicaet and keeps others from poaching those same
email addresses.
I enforce the use of that filed and applaud those that do. Its clean
email. Unlike those that are forward with the header info above the
content. Witch is bad edicaet. Also posting after the main content is bad
and all those i come across get deleted. If I have to wade through what I
already read to find out what someone said, its just not worth it.
I'm also not childish enough to complain about it when my list is hit with
it. After all Its saving time to write one email and send it to multiples
then one for each list. That is why there is a BCC field and why it is
used! Those that do, need computer lessons.

First I want to be very very clear! I am asking for this information to be
used when sending email privately and not to this list or any other list I
subscribe too. I have a friend who sends me articles and email through
outlook express. When I look at the to field when reading the message it
says "undisclosed recipient." How is this done?
