I once installed Open Office and I'm not sure what happened but after installing it, Jaws failed to work correctly until I uninstalled the program. Not only did the Open Office program not work with jaws but other areas like the desktop quit working properly. I would only here the word blank when navigating. Not sure what the conflict was but it was resolved when Open Office was uninstalled.
