I believe it is a flash video file extention.

Hi All;
I recently received an attachment with a ".flac" file extension. I tried
to
find it in the list of file extensions on the website with no luck. Would
someone please tell me what type of file this is or what program is most
commonly used to open such a file? I am running XPSP3 Home, OE, & Jaws 10
latest. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
