Hi, I can answer only the first part of your question regarding justifying
the text in the header. The control r and control l keys do work, with a
little added work. First type the text you want left justified. I believe in
a header this will automatically left justify, but to be safe, you can
select the text and use control l. Then type the text to be right justified;
select it and do the control r. Sorry I don't know the answer to the second
part of the question.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] formatting headers in Microsoft Word 2007
Dear Jaws users,
I am trying to format a header in Word 2007 such that the abbreviated
title is flush left and the page number is flush right. I am writing a
paper in APA format. Is there a way to use Jaws to make sure that the
heading and page number are placed correctly? I don't think that the
control l and control r commands can be used on the same line. I have
looked for instructions online, but it is hard to follow visual commands.
I also need to create a table of contents in Word 2007. Are there any
good free or low cost resources detailing how to complete more advanced
editing tasks? I have looked through the Daisy files provided with Jaws,
which were not helpful.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Chanelle
