Actually, I find these scripts very useful. Since I run JAWS 9 as my
default which doesn't have the Research It feature of JAWS 11, IEMax
provides much of the same functionality of this feature, not to mention some
other cool features like a read clipboard command.

After some investigating, I discovered the cause of my JAWS
punctuation problem. I must have accidently pressed
Insert-`, which is the IEMax keystroke for toggling between
all punctuation and no punctuation. So I set the toggle to
all punctuation, and everything is back to normal.
