Hi Vicky, If you are using Eloquence and your punctuation is being controlled by JAWS when you change it in the "adjust JAWS options" dialog then you don't need to check the "control punctuation mode" in the configuration manager. The suggestion to check how punctuation is being controlled is for when you change synthesizers. Also, I have found that the "none" setting for punctuation stops most types of punctuation from being spoken, but for some reason other types are still spoken and that is why I suggested using the "customize punctuation" list to stop all types of punctuation from being announced. Changing the level to "all" for punctuation or symbols still being spoken by JAWS with "none" set in the "adjust JAWS options" box should work.
Take care. I sure didn't realize that all 3 types of silencing punctuation were needed. I had tried these individually, of course with no success. Will all these be needed with the Real Speak voices? Many thanks!
