That'd be great! Where can I find this Switch Program, or at least, what is
it's actual name?
Sincerely thankful,
Melissa

Hello Malisa,

If you only want to rip the dvd and get it into other formats, you can
rip it with windows mediaplayer version 11 into one of the formats of
which there are several to choose from, e.g. mp3 or wma.

Then you can convert that file with the free or paid version of switch
to different other formats.

The paid version allows more options than the free one, but the switch
program is accessible.

I am grateful sir, for your advice. I've been frustratingly searching
for a
way to take dvd movies and make them into files with multiple formats.
There are a zillion programs for doing this, and I've tried at least 20,
and
not a one works. I can get DVD Fab to work to some extent, but have
only
been able to create ISO files. Even that small accomplishment has
required
the sighted assistance of my 10-year-old son. Now converting those to
MV4's, or something similar seems to be alluding me. I'd like to be
able to
use my multiple devices to keep my kids occupied when we're commuting
and
such.
Again, Thank you for taking the time to respond.
Melissa

Melissa,

I'm not sure how accessible the latest version is. The last
one I purchased and still use from time to time is version
6. Even version 6 is not the most accessible but with a bit
of practice one can work around in it. There were scripts
out for that version but quite honestly I did not see much
difference after installing. Not sure if Rick Harmon might
have some current tutorials on it. He did do a set on
version 6

I would also like to know about Niro's accessibility, and if
it does work,
does anyone have any advice for tutorials or learning tips?
It is an
expensive piece of software, but if it works, an investment
worth the money
to me.
Warmly,
Melissa

Which one of the following works best with Jaws? Nero or
Roxio and which
one has the most features too?

Thanks.
