Nicole,
You can save your dictionary manager by doing the following:
Go to the start menu.
Go to All Programs.
Go to the version of Jaws you want to save the dictionary manager from.
Go to, explore Jaws settings.
Go to, explore my settings.
Find the, default.jdf file, which is your Jaws dictionary file.
Copy it to the clipboard.
Save it to a thumb drive or somewhere you can find it when you need it.
When you are ready to transfer the dictionary to another version of Jaws, copy that file to the clipboard. Navigate once again to the version of Jaws you want the dictionary to be put in.
Go to, explore Jaws settings.
Go to, explore my settings.
Paste the file here and say yes to do you want to replace this file.
Close the folder and restart Jaws.

When you install an upgrade, you can compile your saved configuration
from a previous version.
