Yes, I've tried that and any other key combination I can
think of and I can't hear page #'s etc. Most times I convert
PDF docs to text or word because I get too frustrated with
Adobe and getting around in documents. Back in older
versions such as 7 etc it sure seemed much easier.

Sorry, I do not have that version.  Have you attempted
JAWSKey + PageDown,
to read the Status bar?
