Hi Mike.

Windows Fax and Scanning is not very accessible, so for your own reason, use
another picture viewer.
To see what is available on your system, in Windows Explorer when you're are
on a picture file, press the context menu button, and arrow down to Open
with, and press enter, and see, what is pressented to you from your
applications list of picture viewers.
If you have Microsoft Office Photo editor or Microsoft Picture viewer, try
to use this, it will give you a lot of accessible possibilities.

Hi Karen;

Thank you so much for your help. Apparently because I am using the Windows
Pictures and Fax Viewer I don't get the file menu choices you are getting.
I get nothing when I open the view menu using Jaws 10 or 11. I do get the
zoom in& zoom out choices if I press the applications key to open the
context menu. Thanks again for your help. Take care.
Mike

Hi Mike, Yes, I've got xpsp3 and am using jaws 11. For pictures i've got
dell picture studio standard (which came on the computer).

I have "normal window layout" checked as well as the status and toolbar.
When i hit alt v jaws says "alt v, view menu, zoom in z". then, i just arrow
down to zoom out. Hopefully that's helpful because beyond there, I'm lost.

Hi Karen;

Thank you very much for your response. When I press enter on the picture
that my wife wants to see, then when I invoke the Alt + V keystroke Jaws
reads nothing at all, and in turn when I down arrow nothing is being read by
Jaws. Is your operating system XPSP3 also? If so, does Jaws read anything
to you when you invoke the Alt + V keystroke in an open picture file and
arrow down? If Jaws does read something to you when using the Alt + V
keystroke, would you please inform me as to what is being read? Again,
thank you very much. Your help is appreciated giinormously! Take care.
Mike
