Yes, WinFF works with all versions of Windows from Windows 95 through and
including Windows 7. I am not sure about 64-bit Windows. I found that
there is a later version of the program than what I put a link to in my
earlier message. I have put it in my drop box folder and a link to the
newer version is shown below.

As I mentioned in my earlier message, using the tab key in the program's
interface window moves focus between all the controls. There is a menu
bar
with a file menu, edit menu, options and help menu, but I have found that
all the controls usually needed for converting between the many audio and
video formats are easily navigated using the tab key and arrow keys. I am
using JAWS 11 and there is only one button that is not labeled that I
found
in the interface window. It is the button for browsing to choose a
different output folder. However, in the tab order, it is located right
after the edit box where a path for the output folder can be typed and
just
before the add button. The newer version also has more choices in the
"convert to" box. There are now twenty-four choices in that box, and a
total of one hundred and twelve presets offered by the program. The
convert
to list includes the following:
Audio, AVI, Blackberry, Bravia, Creative Zen, DV, DVD, Google Android,
IPOD/ITunes, LG, mobile phones, MPEG4, neuros OSD, Nokia, Palm, PS3, PSP,
QuickTime, Rockbox, Tuna-Vids, VCD, Walkman, Websites and WMV. Each of
these choices have different available presets. For example, the audio
convert to choice has AC3 DVD 192kbps STEREO, ac3 DVD 384KBPS stereo, MP3,
MPEG4 audio, OGG, WAV and WMA. The IPOD/ITunes choice in the newer
version
also has additional presets. The presets for IPOD/ITunes are iPhone wide
screen, IPOD small converted to wide screen, IPOD small full screen, IPOD
small wide screen, IPOD small wide screen anamorphic, IPOD TV Out
converted
to wide screen, IPOD TV out full screen, IPOD TV out wide screen and IPOD
TV
out wide screen anamorphic.

A small program I have used is called WinFF. It is quite simple to use
and
works well with JAWS. I don't know if it works with a 64-bit system. It
has been some time since I used it and I really don't remember the system
requirements, but it works well on the Vista 32-bit system I am using with
this computer.
The program loads with an interface that is easy to navigate using the tab
or shift+tab keystrokes. There is an add button that is identified by
JAWS
when you tab to it. Pressing spacebar on the button results in the usual
add file dialog box. You can easily find the output folder by tabbing to
where it is shown and you can browse to another output folder to use if
you
want to. If you want to use two passes in the conversion process then
there
is a checkbox for that choice, which of course will take longer. I
haven't
had any problems with the output using the single pass. There is a
"convert
to" combo box with twenty choices in it. The twelfth choice in the list
is
for MPEG4. If you tab once past the convert to box there is a list of
presets for the convert to choice you make. The presets for MPEG4 are MP4
full screen and MP4 wide screen. The eighth choice in the "convert to"
combo box is for IPOD/ITunes, and the presets for that choice are "IPod
small converted to wide screen", "IPod small full screen", "IPod small
wide
screen", IPod small wide screen anamorphic, "IPod TV out converted to wide
screen", "IPod TV out full screen", "IPod TV out wide screen", and "IPod
TV
out anamorphic." Bitrates and frame rates are controlled by the presets.
After making your choices you can tab to the convert button and press
spacebar. When converting starts you can read the current line or status
line and hear how many frames have been processed. When converting is
done
you will have a message to press any key to continue when you read the
current line.
I have also used DVDFlick to convert to different video types.
