Hi, it's actually 2500 commands in total, but I bought the $19 yearly license, only because I may use GoldWave for serious recording and editing, such as podcasts.

Goldwave works very well with JAWS, especially if you install the free scripts.
It will allow you either 250 or 500 key strokes as a fully functional demo so
you can try it before requiring you to buy it. That should be plenty of key
strokes to trim the beginnings and ends of a few files and to merge several
files together. If you need to do more editing than that, it's well worth the
$49 purchase price. I bought it over a year ago and don't regret it!

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Sound file editor

What is the best sound file editor to be used with JAWS? I don't need
anything fancy but I need to trim off the beginning and end of some
recordings, and maybe merge 2 or 3 recordings together.

I am running Windows 7, 64 bit, and the latest version of JAWS.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
