This sounds promising. I wonder how well it would work with really tricky things like Avast?

App Remover sounds cool! It's sure very accessible with JAWS. The application opens like a web page, so you can use the virtual pc cursor to interact with this application. It found and removed MalwareBytes and did a very good job I must say. I'll put MalwareBytes back on but I was testing to see how it all works. I'll now go and try the second feature which is to do a clean uninstall of any stubborn software I may have.

I had a problem installing my antivirus program because there was previously installed software. The support group for my antivirus recommended me to go
to this site and download appremover. When I ran it it found two packages
that had to be removed. The program was quite jaws friendly. It is also free
for personal use.
