Brian and the other list members who helped me might be interested in what happened when I tried the suggestions. 1. All A T & T Natural voices like Crystal 16 are 32 bit. 2. I tried the Compatibility Wizard as Brian suggested but the system reported that the program was just not compatible with a 64 bit system. 3. I must conclude therefore that those voices, unless they are available in a 64 bit version, will not be accessible to someone using Windows 7 in the 64 bit versions. COMMENTS: David. You couldn't have been more right. Everything Brian said confirmed that and sure enough, I found the entire folder in the Programs-86 list. There are an amazing number of 32 bit programs which do work with 64 bit systems. That list was full of them but I use many without a problem.
