Thanks Don, - more power than I realised...
Thanks again, Paul from Aust ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Marang" <[email protected]> That is what we are here for. If you have any questions, ask on. For more complex backup and archive tasks the tags work great. They probably need some explanation, so I will provide an example. Adding a Job with the following target directory will create a separate directory structure of the source directory, "Finance", in this case. The new structure will create a new folder each new year and subdirectories each month of that source folder. Each new month, a new folder is created and the entire Finance folder is archived. Each night at 1 am, the default backup time, any changes to the archive folder is updated. Therefore, at the end of each month, a copy of everything in that folder is preserved. I do not do this for many folders, just the very important folders, since it creates so many copies. Target directory: C:\Users\Don\Documents\Finance\<yyyy>\Month<mm>\ The portion"Month<mm>" will create a new folder each month, such as "Month01" for January, and so on in a folder for the current year, such as "2010".
