Thank you Mr. David. I wanted to point out that because Office 2007 uses Word as its editor and you cannot change that, some of the problems I mentioned with Outlook, also show up in Word. The other thing to keep in mind is how is the user using Word. If they are using it for just basic typing, and not doing any formatting, tables, columns, etc. Then JAWS 8 might do just fine. If the user is doing a bit more advanced work then this with Word, or they are having to read documents created by others, I personally think that there is a strong case for upgrading to JAWS 11. If an upgrade to Windows 7 is on the horizon for the agency, then I think upgrading needs to be taken into consideration. I am a firm believer in if it is not broke, don't fix it, but when you are comparing agency use to individual use, sometimes upgrading is really the best solution. My 2 cents.
