I would like to remind everyone that if in JAWS 11, you have added scripts which modified the default script file in JAWS 11, moving that set of scripts to JAWS 12 will likely prevent you from getting JAWS to work correctly since the default scripts in 12 are newer than the 11 scripts. I'm not certain but I think this could be the case with any Skype scripts you may have added in the past. For other applications specific scripts that you have sitting in your JAWS 11 User Settings Folder, moving those in should be OK. Of course I think it is always wise to install and try the new version without making any changes first and then work things in after doing some experimentation first. Finally, I agree with Flor, you should not uninstall JAWS 11 just because you install the Public Beta of 12. This is not necessary. You will just have to keep track of which version you are actually running of course. Don't uninstall JAWS11 yet, at least not until JAWS12 is out of beta and official. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jose Lomeli" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 03, 2010 4:34 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] How is JAWS 12 Public Beta working out for users? > Hi, Listers, I guess I am a little hisatent on installing JAWS 12. > Don't get me wrong I like all the new features of JAWS 12.
