I am working with a deaf-blind person who uses a Focus braille display, JFW 11, and Vista.
She's taking a braille transcription course, so alignment is important. She has discovered that in Perky Duck, and in Notepad, the cursor always starts in cell 2 instead of cell 1. (In Word or Outlook, the cursor starts as it should in cell 1.) I have tried changing some settings in her braille options. Status cells are turned off. She's using a 40-cell display, and panning increment is set to 40. Any thoughts on why this problem is occurring and how to fix it? Thanks.
