Try rebooting the computer. Do a complete shut down, not a restart. That
solved my problem.

All,
I have jaws 11 but also notice this behavior in jaws12 as well. If I'm
downloading something no matter what it is jaws will act like this in OE.
When I arrow down it will say unread, unread, unread, without speaking the
message, also when I arrow down through the folders it will not speak the
folders. The way I fix this is to restart jaws. Anyone know why this is
happening?
I am running OE on a win xp home pc.
