Open the document in Word. Choose the, Save as Option. Alt, F and then A You will be in the edit field for your file name. You don't need to change anything here. Tab once and you will find a list of file types you can save as. Arrow down the list until you find txt, Enter, and then Enter again to save it. Now you will have two files with the same name, but with a different extension. The txt file will be the file you can transfer.
