I've noticed that when I change something in the MSConfig, the start jaws automatically check box is for whatever reason unchecked. I always have to go into Jaws to recheck the box after doing whatever it is I do in the MSConfig start up. This happens every single time for me. I already submitted a bug report to fs about it.

When I went to the JAWS menu, I checked the voices submenu and found that the voices submenu was disabled. With some patience and a great deal of frustration, I somehow got narrator up and running because NVDA, too had decided to shut down. I downloaded JAWS and now I'm trying to configure my computer only to be told that I'm not authorized to perform that action. I know it has something to do with administrative tools. Can you or someone out there give me a brief outline so I won't encounter this each time? Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2010 11:15 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] AUTOMATICALLY START JAWS > Hello there; > > 1, go into, jaws options/basics, > > 2, tab and enter on, automatically start jaws.... > > now, you need to have, > start jaws at the log in screen checked, > start jaws after log in screen for all users checked, > start jaws after log in for this user, make sure that always is > highlighted, > you should hear, > start jaws after log in for this user, always, 1of3. > > now tab okay, press enter. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jo Luland" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2010 11:05 AM > Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] AUTOMATICALLY START JAWS > > >> Hi All, For some time now, I've been having a problem with JAWS and >> windows 7.
