I've noticed that when I change something in the MSConfig, the start jaws
automatically check box is for whatever reason unchecked. I always have to
go into Jaws to recheck the box after doing whatever it is I do in the
MSConfig start up. This happens every single time for me. I already
submitted a bug report to fs about it.

Hi, Thanks for your response. When I went to the JAWS menu, I checked the
voices submenu and found that the voices submenu was disabled. With some
patience and a great deal of frustration, I somehow got narrator up and
running because NVDA, too had decided to shut down. I downloaded JAWS and
now I'm trying to configure my computer only to be told that I'm not
authorized to perform that action. I know it has something to do with
administrative tools. Can you or someone out there give me a brief outline
so I won't encounter this each time? Thanks.
