?Hello, I don't know if this will help your situation but, just in case, I will tell you what I do. If I am not wanting to use JAWS for instance, when I want to just relax and listen to music, I just put JAWS in silent mode. To do this press insert + spacebar and then the letter s. Repeat this process when you want to take JAWS out of silent mode. It is quick and easy and does the job for me. Hope this helps.

However each time it activates JAWS announces the name of the screen saver program and ditto when it deactivates following a keystroke. is there any way to set JAWS to not announce the name of this program each time it launches and ends? I cant find (and this is not surprising) this screen saver program show up in the list of jcf files under config manager as I believe the list there is pre fixed by FS. thx.
