Hi Ann,

1. Open wmp 12. There's in fact no need to press ctrl + 1 for library - if you manually open wmp12 it opens in the library view, but if you open an audio file, so causing wmp to open and play the file it would then open in the playing view. 2. Initial focus is in the tree view. If album is selected that would be fine. 3. tab to the list of albums (this will probably be two tabs), and select the album to burn. There's no need to open the album, you can just press ctrl + 8 to add all the songs in the album to the burn list. (you can do this sort of thing
in wmp11 as well, though there isn't this shortcut).
4. load a blank cd.
5. tab once to the start button and press it.

Additional note: if you want to change what's in the list (eg albums,
music(tracks), artist) then after selecting one of these in the tree view you
have to press enter for the contents of the list of whatever to change.

best of luck,
David.

original message:
Hi David, I am writing this question from memory. My friend successfully ripped songs from a CD yesterday, The Cars So today he will open WMP12, control 1 for
library, tab to album. I don't think he had it by artist. I think he had 3
options. While album is selected press enter and select all songs control +a, or
check each song?
Greatest Hits. Load a blank CD in drive. Press control+8 and possibly tab to
start burn button. His eject after ripping and burning are both checked.
Thanks, Ann
