I'm wondering whether anyone else has experienced this with JAWS 12: When I want to type in an edit field on the Internet--I'm using IE 8, it makes the sound to indicate that forms mode is on, but after I type my text, I find that the cursor is not focused anywhere near the text field I thought I was in. I mean, it will be way down the page on a heading or a link. I go back to the edit field and try again, only to have the same thing happen. Sometimes it takes three or four tries before the cursor is actually in the edit field and I can type something there. Also, if I am editing text, modifying a search, etc, sometimes the cursor will jump, while I'm typing, to the end of the line. I have no indication that it has done so until the search turns up nothing and when I check what I wrote, it's all mixed up. For example, let's say I do a search for dog food and I want to modify it to Eukanuba Breed Specific dog food. My search may end up reading something like "Eukanuba Breed dog food Specific." I know it isn't me. I have been using JAWS and the Internet for over 10 years and have never experienced anything like this before. Is this happening to anyone else using JAWS 12?
