Karen's Replicator runs great on my Windows 7 Home Premium system. I use it to backup large amounts of data. It does it very efficiently. I have had no problems with performance.

You may find some utilities unnecessary in Windows 7, because there are ways to do it natively. For instance, in Windows Explorer, if you press Shift + Applications, a "right click" context menu appears with a few extra options, like Copy Path. The path of the folder can also be copied by pressing F4 to display and highlight the address field.

There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter.

Compatible but very sluggish on my machines at least. So choose not to use it and instead use the traditional copy and paste method or, for system images Backup and Restore Centre.

I know of course just as soon as this message leaves my out box I'll think of five more programs, but this is a good start. These are programs that go in to each and every basic image I create.

It occurs to me that I might need to put 7 on one of these systems here since I am running in to more support calls. I did duck Vista pretty well but 7 is far more popular, and from what I can see more useful than Vista at least to my minimal experience.

If I come up with a further list of programs I'll ask to their compatibility as well.

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up too.
