An older version, 0.8.6i, of VLC Player was accessible. I wish they would
provide an interface to the latest version! Being 'stuck' at a out of date,
unsupported version is not ideal. I hear there are new features,such as
scheduling recording Internet live streams and improved real time
transcodeing, which I would be interested in checking out.

VLC is freeware but sadly most of it is inaccesible WRT hot keys to FF,
rewind, play, jump from title to title etc.

Is there any free accessible DVD playing software that works well with
windows xp and jaws? I'm not looking for something extra-ordinary; just a
basic application that has hot keys for things like pause/play,
revind/forward etc and allows one to navigate through the various
files/folders in the DVD. I have searched on-line but haven't found

Or alternatively, where can I find a free plug-in that enables windows
