Daily Tip:
Max Out Your Notebook Power

Notebook battery power is precious when you're traveling, so make the most of
your last charge by following a couple of tips. Run as few programs as
possible. That includes shutting down any programs that plop icons onto the
system tray on the bottom-right side of your Desktop. Add more memory.
Additional RAM lets your machine compute more efficiently. And consider
investing in an extra battery. Be sure to compare prices between retailers,
though, because batteries cost a lot of money and prices vary wildly from store
to store.

  Daily Term:
local-area wireless network

More commonly referred to as WLAN. This is a network that uses wireless means
to transmit data from one point to another, rather than by using a more
traditional wired LAN configuration.

Most people don't know what they're doing and a lot of them are really good at
it.
