The only thing I have in my system tray relating to that is the usual volume
icon, which gives me the choices of either opening audio properties and
opening volume control. I was looking for a quicker way to do that. I
heard someone talking the other day about hotkey detective. Would that let
me know if there are hotkeys on here for volume?

There are often special buttons on laptops to increase or decrease the
volume. These are usually located above the keyboard if you have them.
Otherwise there are some programmes you can load for the purpose or you do
so with controls in your system tray.

Does anybody know if there are any global hotkeys to turn the system
volume up and down on a laptop? Thanks.
