Hello all. I’ll get right to the point. I have a Focus 40 blue that I like very
much but am having problems using it on a website. The area I’m having an issue
with is when entering numbers for instance in a password setting. I have it
set to contracted imput and output in the Braille settings of Jaws 12 latest
build, and it’s also crucial to note that I am having this issue whether or
noti’m bluetooth connected, or on USB. When I enter a password, say gooddog1
the issue is how to get Jaws and the site to recognize that this is a number.
I’ve been told to do everything from try a dropped number, to using a number
sign also I’ve used dot four, or dots four seven and none of these seem to
work. These were all suggestions by other Braille display users. My system for
those who may need to know: is a dell Studio xps 1340 windows seven sixty four
bit home Premium edition. If you can help I’d appreciate it. I hope this was
