What difference does it make which keystroke you use to launch Windows Task Manager? They both work the same way.

The best way to open the task manager is to press control+shift+escape and not control+alt+delete.

Best regards,

Adi.

Are you sure you closed AIM? If you cannot get it to close, launch the Windows Task Manager (Alt-Control-Delete), scroll to AIM on the Applications tab and tab to the end task button to force it to shut down. Then you should be able to uninstall it.

Hi list, I hope you can help me.
For some reason went I went to use aim it froze up.
I have tried to uninstall it from the programs and features list, from the computer on the desk top, and also from all programs. No matter what I do the program stays froze, it will not open or let it self be uninstalled.
Please, any suggestions would be helpful, thank you very much.
I am using vista with latest jaws 12.
