1. use some commercial system/data back up software like "image for
Windows' which was covered by Moderator David a while ago here and is
at the list website. so we are supposed to use such software when the
PC is healthy so we can revert to it in case of trouble.
2. Other way is to simply use the Windows native offering of system
restore which allows us to restore the system to a condition in the
past at a restore point when we know the PC was healthy.
Why should I bother with any of the PC backup software instead of
depending upon the Windows system restore? What are my incentives to
use #1 over the Windows system restore?
