Other way is to simply use the Windows native offering of system restore which allows us to restore the system to a condition in the past at a restore point when we know the PC was healthy.

Why should I bother with any of the PC backup software instead of depending upon the Windows system restore? What are my incentives to use #1 over the Windows system restore?
