James, As far as I know, the only way to avoid re-installing the version of Jaws which gives you trouble is to go directly to the site and choose the upgrade you want. However, in most cases, each update incorporates the changes which were made in previous versions. So, if you skip an update and try to load the next one in sequence, you'll probably end up with the same situation. I'm not sure about this but I'm reasonably confident that this is how Jaws updates work.
