Hello David
I thought that would be possible but the drive is not "seen"
in "my computer".. I thought a serial ATA drive would show
up but do you think I'll have to check for it in CMOS?

You can format a secondary drive using the command under the
file menu in XP
so long as the primary drive is not the target of your
operation where JAWS
is installed.

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably
screw that one up
too.

Hi Listers
I hope this is not too far off topic. Is there a way to
format a second hard drive while windows xp and jaws are
running from the primary drive? In other words, if I connect
a second drive and boot so that I can use jaws, is there
software which I can download to format and partition the
new drive or can it be done if I insert the windows CD and
let jaws assist me?
Regards
Fanus
