Hello Lennie, I am using Word 2010, but if I remember right Word 2007 is pretty much the same when it comes to auto text entries. When you type the first few letters of the auto text name, press function key 3 to complete the process. The auto text entry is saved to the auto text gallery in the Normal.DOTM in Word 2010 and I think in Word 2007. You need to type the first few characters that start the beginning of the name you gave the auto text and follow that by f3.
I hope you get it working. Take care. I also hope that I can explain it. In MS word 2003 using auto text, any word that is inserted will automatically fill in. Different words have been inserted in quick parts that should automatically fill in with MS word 2007. I know that the words have been inserted, but when starting to type any of the words, it is not automatically filled in. Am I missing something? Any help or advice will greatly be appreciated. Thanks. Take care.
