Update Checker is not a stand-alone program, but rather a web-based service
from File Hippo that compares the versions of all freeware programs
installed on your computer with the latest available versions of these
programs and creates a web-based list of those programs which are out of
date and need to be updated. Because it is web based, I don't understand
why it wouldn't work with JAWS 12. What browser are you using? It might be
the browser that is causing the problem, not JAWS 12.
