In my opinion, the mobile version is too devoid of a lot of info I look for
on FB.

The only problem I've found with IE9 is on Facebook. When you try to send

message, IE9 wasn't showing the "send" button, but IE8 and Jaws 12 does.

Ah, that's what I suspected. Users on this and other lists have reported
that IE 9 does not work well with JAWS 12. You might want to consider
rolling back to IE 8 until the glitches are worked out of IE 9. Update
Checker should work fine with JAWS 12 and IE 8.

Update Checker is not a stand-alone program, but rather a web-based

from File Hippo that compares the versions of all freeware programs
installed on your computer with the latest available versions of these
programs and creates a web-based list of those programs which are out of
date and need to be updated. Because it is web based, I don't
understand
why it wouldn't work with JAWS 12. What browser are you using? It
might
be
the browser that is causing the problem, not JAWS 12.
