No do not uninstall the shared components. As the name suggests these are files shared by all the versions of jaws. If you remove them non of your versions of jaws will work. That is why running an older version of jaws after installing a newer version the older version may not perform as it did before because it will be using the newer version of some files in the shared directory. Again do not uninstall the shared components. If you need to roll back to an earlier version uninstall the newer version and then run a repair on the earlier version to roll back the shared components.
