Hi Deanne,
yeppers, there is an email client that works pretty well with windows 7, and
that program is: windows live mail. You can get this program by going to
Microsoft.com and putting in windows live essentials in the search field.
There are a number of programs that Microsoft would love to have you to
install in this package, and you can select them all, or just what you want.
Windows mail 2011, is different than its predisesor, Windlows live
essentials 2009. You probably would like windows live essentials 2009,
because it wlrks very much like outlook express. You will have to google
windows live essentials 2009 as I had to do, but you can find it.
Windows live essentials 2011 works on the ribbon menus, and if you aren't
used to that, it can be troublesome.
If you have any trouble finding them, or installing them, write me off list,
and I can give you a hand. My skype contact is jim332 if you like, and my
emaiil address is:
[email protected].
Hope this helps.
Jim

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Email client and Windows 7
Hello:
Does anyone know if there is an email program that will run on Windows 7
and that is compatible with JAWS? I'm helping a friend, or trying to help
him, and tried installing Thunderbird, but I can't seem to figure out how
it works. I'm not sure whether it's me or the program having issues with
JAWS. But if there is another email program that simplifies the process
like Outlook Express did with XP, and Windows Mail did with Vista, and is
compatible with JAWS, I would love to know about it.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.
Deanne
