I thought that the original email explained itself rather well.

You'll probably get a dozen answers to this question but the first thing off the bat is, does your friend use Jaws? If he does, okay. If not, you have inadvertently posted to the wrong list since this group deals with how Jaws
works with other programs or with problems arising out of using jaws.
There David. That's one long e-mail you won't have to write.
Ms. Miller, I can recommend several e-mail programs that will work with Jaws
and Windows 7.
Please e-mail me off list however, if your friend doesn't use Jaws.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Email client and Windows 7

Hello:
Does anyone know if there is an email program that will run on Windows 7 and that is compatible with JAWS? I'm helping a friend, or trying to help him, and tried installing Thunderbird, but I can't seem to figure out how it works. I'm not sure whether it's me or the program having issues with JAWS.
But if there is another email program that simplifies the process like
Outlook Express did with XP, and Windows Mail did with Vista, and is
compatible with JAWS, I would love to know about it.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.
Deanne
