The best laptops I think for a blind person are the Dell Latitudes that are dizind spessifically for work, on the HP pavilion and Dell Inspirions for example, you will maybe need to press the Function keys together with the function key which is located usually after the left control key. So if you want to do insert f4 for example, you will press the insert key+the function key+f4. On the Dell inspiron line, you can change that in the bios - I think that would also apply to a lot of HP machines.
