This really is not so hard to understand. You need the jaws version
corresponding to your operating system. since jaws 10, there have
been both 32bit and 64bit versions. You need the 32bit version of
jaws if your operating system is 32bit and you need the 64bit version
of jaws if your windows is 64bit.
you can run a 32bit operating system on 64bit hardware but you cannot
run a 64bit operating system on 32bit hardware.
As a user, you probably will not know the difference except that a
64bit operating system makes better use of 64bit hardware and gives
you a few advantages like being able to make use of more than 3.5 gigs of RAM.
If you check the system properties of your version of windows, it
will tell you if you are using a 32bit or 64bit operating system.
Just get the appropriate version of jaws and you are good to go.

Hello, will Jaws 12 work on a 64 bit computer running windows 7. I don't
truly understand this 32 and or 64 bit thing.
